Lithops ruschiorum (Dint & Schwant.) N.E. Brown (1925)

Lithops ruschiorum and especially the variety lineata grow in the Northern end of the Lithops distribution known. According to Cole its is possible that they can be found even in Angola but that is not proven yet. L. ruschiorum var. ruschiorum can be found in the Southern part of the area, in the middle nothing is known and in the northern part there is the the var. lineata.
L. ruschiorum is not the easiest Lithops to grow. Even moist air in a greenhouse can prevent the old leaves to dry up. The plants are best kept in the sunniest places in the greenhouse.
